OUTREACH AND TABLING

The Animal Rights Coalition advocates for animals at major Minnesota events, using literature, food samples, and virtual reality to educate communities about the exploitation of animals for food, clothing, research, and entertainment.

pay-per-view

UNIVERSITIES AND COMMUNITY COLLEGES
Pay-per-view virtual reality headsets offer a 5-minute experience of life as a pig, chicken, or dairy cow. During the school year, ARC visits colleges like Augsburg, Anoka Ramsey, and St. Olaf to engage students in exploring alternatives to eating animals. After watching, students discuss what they saw with an ARC staff member or volunteer, receive an info packet with next steps, and earn $1 for participating.

PAY-PER-VIEW & Food sampling

COMMUNITY EVENTS
The pay-per-view headsets are also featured at major events like Twin Cities and Duluth Pride, EarthFest, Open Streets, Vitality Festival, and IndiaFest. To enhance the experience, we offer free samples of Babybel Plant-Based Cheese for attendees to enjoy!
TWIN CITIES PRIDE FESTIVAL
DULUTH PRIDE FESTIVAL
ROCHESTER EARTHFEST
SHADES OF BEAUTY EXPO
OPEN STREETS MPLS
HEALTHY LIFE EXPO
LONGEVITY EXPO

FARMERS MARKETS

During the farmers market season (May–October), ARC visits markets across the Twin Cities, including Mill City, Midtown, Kingfield, Bloomington, Linden Hills, and Minneapolis. We share plant-based recipes that pair perfectly with fresh market produce and inspire attendees to explore plant-based eating. We also introduce participants to ARC's Vegan University, which offers free vegan mentors, plant-based cooking classes, grocery shopping tours, and online workshops.

LEAFLETTING

ARC distributes leaflets at strategic events like concerts, expos, and venues of exploitation, including the Minnesota State Fair and Renaissance Festival. This outreach method effectively reaches large crowds, making it a powerful tool for spreading awareness. We always welcome volunteers to help share literature and amplify our message.
