puppy millsMinnesotan's Exposing the Pet Trade pairs with Minnesotan's Against Puppy Mills outside Four Paws and a Tail in Blaine, MN to tell the public we do not accept the cruel breeding and mistreatment of dogs and cats for profit.

THE FUR INDUSTRYARC educates the community about the fur industry with Fur FREE Minneapolis outside Ribnick Luxury Fur in Minneapolis. With so many animal-free options available, animals should never be killed for clothing. This was a success! At the end of 2021, Ribnick's announced they will no longer be in business selling animal skins.

CIRCUSESThe Animal Rights Coalition, along with Minnesota Animal Liberation, lets the public know that the circus is not a family friendly event. St. Paul Osman Shrine Circus continues to hold their annual shows that include exploitation of elephants, tigers, and lions.

RENAISSANCE FESTIVALThe Minnesota Renaissance Festival offers elephant, camel, pony, and llama rides, and brings a petting zoo where you can hug a kangaroo, pet an African porcupine or hand feed a grape to a ringtail lemur. With the numerous human entertainment acts at the Renaissance Festival, there is no need to exploit animals.

RODEOSThe Cinch World's Toughest Rodeo held at the Xcel Energy Center includes bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, and barrel racing. ARC stands outside to inform the public that this event is extremely cruel, and not at all entertaining.

ANIMAL TESTINGThe Animal Rights Coalition teamed up with the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine to urge Hennepin Healthcare to modernize their medical training and stop cruel, unnecessary animal testing. This was a success! In 2019, HCMC declared they would no longer use live animals for testing.

ANIMALS USED FOR FOODARC protested the grand opening of The Bacon Social House in Minneapolis, expressing concern for animals and the environment, as well as human health.

TROPHY HUNTINGARC sends a message to the Safari Hunting Club that trophy hunting is a cruel "sport" that needs to stop. Killing is not conservation.
