OUTREACH AND TABLING

The Animal Rights Coalition advocates for animals at highly attended events in Minnesota each year. ARC uses literature, food samples, and pay-per-view virtual reality headsets to educate communities about animals raised for food and exploited by humans for clothing, research, and entertainment.

RSVP to volunteer at outreach events on ARC's Facebook
or email ARC's Outreach Manager, Kelsey.

paid-per-view

UNIVERSITIES AND COMMUNITY COLLEGES
Paid-per-view virtual reality headsets take the viewer on a 5-minute tour through what it's like to be an animal raised for food. The viewer can choose to see through the eyes of a pig, a chicken, or a cow raised for her milk. During the school year, ARC attends Augsburg University, Century College, Anoka Ramsey Community College, St. Olaf College, Carleton College, St. Catherine University and many others to talk to students.

PAID-PER-VIEW & Food sampling

COMMUNITY EVENTS
The paid-per-view headsets are also used at larger events such as Twin Cities and Duluth Pride Festival, EarthFest, Shades of Beauty Expo, Open Streets, Vitality Festival, Healthy Life Expo and IndiaFest.
TWIN CITIES PRIDE FESTIVAL
DULUTH PRIDE FESTIVAL
ROCHESTER EARTHFEST
SHADES OF BEAUTY EXPO
OPEN STREETS MPLS
HEALTHY LIFE EXPO
LONGEVITY EXPO

FARMERS MARKETS

Each season (May-October), ARC attends multiple farmers markets around the Twin Cities including Mill City, Midtown, Kingfield, Bloomington, Linden Hills, Minneapolis, and Minnetonka. We hand out plant-based recipes to go along with the produce sold at markets and encourage people to switch to a plant-based diet if they so choose. We also let market participants know about ARC's Vegan University program that offers FREE vegan mentors, plant-based cooking classes, grocery shopping tours and online workshops.

LEAFLETTING

ARC leaflets as it is appropriate after concerts, expos, and events of exploitation such as during the Minnesota State Fair and Renaissance Festival. Leafletting is an effective way to reach many people at one time., so we can use as many volunteers as possible to help distribute literature.
